Public Notice Disposal of Motor Vehicles & Generator

dfcu Bank invites interested bidders to view and give offers for the purchase of Motor Vehicles Toyota Prado UAT 461C, Toyota Hiace UAS 477V and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport UAR 410N and generator whose details appear as per the table. The vehicles and generator will be sold on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis and dfcu Bank will have no further liability after sale. All the vehicles and generator indicated are subject to a reserve value and dfcu Bank is not bound to accept any bid.

The sealed bids should be clearly marked “DISPOSAL OF MOTOR VEHICLES” or “DISPOSAL OF GENERATO” and submitted to the Head of Procurement by dropping copies in the bid box on 2nd Floor at the dfcu Head Office located on Plot 26, Kyadondo Road not later than Friday, 26th February 2021, 2:30pm.

All bidders should clearly indicate their daytime contact numbers and email addresses on the bid documents. All interested bidders shall pay a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 at any dfcu Bank branch in order to view the vehicles and generator. A copy of the payment should be attached when submitting the bid.

Viewing of the vehicles and generator will be done at dfcu Bank Head Office, Plot 26 Kyadondo Road, Nakasero car park from 19th February 2021 to 25th February 2021 starting at 9:00am to 4:00pm. This will only be open to applicants who would have paid and presented an original copy of the nonrefundable bid fee.

Successful bidders shall be required to pay a non-refundable commitment fee of 10% of the bid amount at any dfcu Bank branch within two working days from the date of award. Full payment shall be made within 10 working days from date of award, failure of which the offer shall be withdrawn automatically and any monies paid fortified.
Only successful bidders will be notified.
