Non-Executive Director

Millie Nkaja is a banking professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

She has held key roles, including Head, of Credit at Orient Bank (now I & M Bank Uganda Ltd) and Country Risk Officer / Head of Credit at Standard Chartered Bank, where she significantly contributed to asset growth and profitability.

Millie also served in various roles at Uganda Commercial Bank, (now Stanbic Bank Uganda) gaining expertise in Development Finance, Corporate Banking, and Financial Operations.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, is a graduate of the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) Business Administration Executive program and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Makerere University. Millie is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

As an Independent Director, Millie brings onboard a key competency, offering strategic leadership in credit risk management.
