August 12th 2009. dfcu has been commended for supporting the development of Uganda’s economy over the last forty five years.The comments were made by Musa Bashir, the Chief Executive Officer of Hared Petroleum who was the Chief Guest at the launch of the bank’s branch in Jinja on Wednesday 12th August 2009.
Mr. Bashir urged people in business to seek tips from dfcu bank and learn from
their success to build lasting indigenous businesses that can stand the test of
time.
Bashir however cautioned borrowers to learn to be flexible and focused in order to succeed in the current volatile economic environment adding that dfcu bank offers a living example of how determination can lead to company success. dfcu Bank Managing Director Juma Kisaame said the launch of the Jinja branch located in the heart of Jinja Town, on Lady Alice Muloki road, opens the door for to access both short term and long term finance facilities. Kisaame reiterated the Bank’s commitment to continue taking services closer to the people across the country. He urged the people of Jinja to utilize the recently introduced Investment Club Account that promotes saving in groups for purposes of long-term saving. He encouraged customers to take advantage of other dfcu products like leasing and business growth loans.
